The client wanted to cut costs. All the graphics had to be done in After Effects, with no 3D.

So we worked out a pipeline inside After Effects to provide a camera track and a car track for the graphics.

There were 4 spots in all. You can see the other 3 on our Vimeo page.

Why it is worth doing. 3D software adds time and cost. If the graphics can sit on a good 2D track, the job stays simple. The tracking has to be good enough that nobody questions it.
